Job Summary

Primary duties include HVAC repairs, service, inspect and prepare equipment for delivery. Additional duties to include generator and compressed air repairs, service, and inspect. Set-up of equipment and accessories at job site including electrical cable, air hose, water hose and electrical panels. Instruct customer on safe and proper operation of equipment. Communicate information regarding equipment condition, problems and recommendations.

Position requires to manage and maintain diesel generators, compressed air, and HVAC fleet. Set-up of equipment and accessories includes electrical cable, air hose, water hose, and electrical panels. Communicate information regarding equipment and accessories condition, problems, and recommendations. Maintain shop and yard with physical labor demands. Load, unload, move, maintain, receive and ship equipment and accessories.  

Essential Functions & Additional Responsibilities

1. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and failures.
2. Maintain good customer relations and support for corporate marketing objectives.
3. Repair, recondition, and maintain equipment and components.
4. Prepare service reports.
5. Plan and control cost of repair jobs.
6. Maintain company equipment – keep in good clean orderly condition.
7. Work safely at all times.  Adhere to all applicable safety policies.  Comply with all company policies, procedures and standards.

Additional Requirements

1. Must be able to work overtime as needed.
2. Must be able to be on call as needed.
3. Must have current DOT medical card or the ability to obtain card within 60 days of hire date.
4. Must have HVAC and Refrigeration experience, minimum 12 months required.

Education

Proof of High School Diploma or GED

Experience

6 months minimum experience
