Parts Core Process Coordinator (Mesa)

Position Status: Full Time (40 hrs week) 

Pay Range: $18.97  -  24.87 

Job Summary

Collect and process cores daily.  Identify and inspect Cores. Process cores following Mesa Parts Contamination Control Process and Procedures.  Load, log, and arrange pickup.  Maintain and organize core staging areas.

Essential Functions & Additional Responsibilities

  1. Identifies, separates and inspects cores.  Researches and resolves discrepancies.
  2. Reviews reports regularly and researches information for corrections and submits payment changes.
  3. Works with selling store for accuracy and distribution.  
  4. Fixes errors and redistributes shipments.
  5. Makes arrangements for pick up within established standards.
  6. Files documents and case sheets as needed.
  7. Communicates with Cat and other area managers on issues.
  8. Assists other departments and other branch stores in processes and procedures to insure proper guidelines are followed.
  9. Works safely at all times.  Adheres to all applicable safety policies.  Complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
  10. Processes cores and shipments following department’s processes and procedures.
  11. Holds core inspection, process, and procedure training classes as needed.
  12. Maintains and organizes core staging areas.  Areas remain free of trash and broken pallets and all cores are adequately stored and protected from weather.
  13. Must work within and promote Mesa Parts Department’s Contamination Control policies and procedures.
  14. Identifies ways to simplify and streamline processes and procedures.
  15. Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
  16. Must accomplish training and serve as a Green Belt in support of EMPIRE's Six Sigma program.
  17. Works within and promotes corporate values.

Additional Requirements

  • Must demonstrate knowledge sufficient to identify cores being processed.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize work load, and maintain good record keeping.
  • Ability and knowledge sufficient to work with overhead cranes, air tools, and hand tools sufficient to complete the job.
  • Minimum six month’s experience with computer systems, Microsoft Office products, and e-mail.
  • Parts pro training program certification preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.

Skills & Abilities

Basic organizational skills.
Interpersonal skills sufficient to communicate verbally and in writing with others in an objective and cooperative manner.
Acceptable attendance to meet all company standards and requirements.

Education

Proof of High School Diploma or GED

Experience

6 months minimum experience
