Position Status: Full Time (40 hrs week) 

Job Summary:

Clean, prepare, paint and detail machines, parts and components. Material handling and forklift operation.

Essential Functions:

  1. Prep machines prior to paint or detail assignment.
  2. Paint machines for customers and Empire functions.
  3. Detail cabs on machines and components.
  4. Maintain equipment for Utility wash rack and Paint shop.
  5. Monitor and order supplies for the Utility wash rack and the Paint shop.
  6. Detail cabs on machines and or components for equipment for customers or Empire functions.
  7. Work safely at all times.  Adhere to all applicable safety policies.  Comply with all company policies, procedures and standards.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Order supplies.
  2. Submit necessary reports, records and data.
  3. Operate machines and vehicles.
  4. Own and maintain personal required tools.
  5. Work within and promote corporate values.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  1. Skills required in commercial spray painting.
  2. Skills required in biding and estimating paint jobs.
  3. Must have working knowledge of cleaning, surface preparation and spray-painting operations.
  4. Must be able to operate machines and power equipment.
  5. Must be able to climb on large machines.
  6. Must be able to meet all safety requirements for applicable safety policies and use of all required safety equipment.
  7. Must have acceptable attendance to meet all company standards and requirements.

Education and Experience:

  1. Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  2. Must be able to obtain forklift operator license.
  3. Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.

  6. Corrective glasses and/or goggles must not interfere with the seal of the face piece to the face of the employee.
  7. The employee must not have facial hair that comes between the sealing surface of the face piece and the face.
