Position Status: Full Time (40 hrs week) 

Job Summary:

Provide quotes, submit applications, and obtain finance and lease documents using financing software.  Calculate quotes for secondary lenders.  Complete and submit applications to secondary lenders.  Calculate and provide Account Manager and Financial Merchandiser with payoffs for rental and lease equipment.  Communicate merchandising programs to Account Managers.   Update and maintain the Merchandising database.  Assist the Financial Merchandiser in obtaining financing documents from Account Managers and customers.  Assist in controlling and maintaining customer and departmental files.

Essential Functions:

1. Use Caterpillar Financial’s Finance Express system to provide quotes, submit applications, and obtain finance and lease documents.
2. Use Tvalue software to calculate quotes for lenders and complete and submit applications to secondary lenders.
3. Calculate and provide Account Managers and Financial Merchandiser with payoff amounts for rental and lease equipment.
4. Learn, understand, and be able to communicate and explain all merchandising programs and lender finance options to Empire’s Account Managers.
5. Interact with customers to obtain Credit Applications, Financial documentation, Work on Hand and any other necessary documentation required by the lending institution.
6. Greet all persons calling at Empire Mesa office.  Maintain visitor’s register.  Assist visitors in reaching the appropriate person.
7. Assist Applicants for employment.  No applicant is turned away because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age disability or veteran status.
8. Maintain complete coverage on reception desk.  Generate and maintain monthly schedule.
9. Work safely at all times.  Adhere to all applicable safety policies.  Comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards.

Additional Responsibilities:

1. Assist department by controlling and maintaining customer and departmental files.
2. Learn and use Empire, Caterpillar and allied product procedures and systems.
3. Maintain and distribute Sales reports.
4. Act as liaison with other departments.  Help establish and maintain interdepartmental communications and informational flows between the Sales, Rental, Credit, Accounting, and Tax departments.
5. Perform other related duties as assigned.
6. Code/email CFSC wire transfers to Accounting and notify manager of any short funded transactions.
7. Work within and promote corporate values.

Education and Experience:

1. Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
2. Current driver’s license.
3. Minimum of 1-3 years related experience.
4. Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.
