Empire Southwest is a family-owned company founded in 1950 and serves as the Caterpillar^® dealership throughout the Southwest. As a family-owned business, our President and CEO, Jeff Whiteman, represents the third generation to run the company.

Our team includes over 1,600 employees, in over 20 locations, working in divisions ranging from Machinery, Power Systems, Hydraulic Service, Precision Machining, Renewable Energy, Equipment Rentals, On-Highway Trucks, Technology and Transport. This enables us to serve clients in a wide range of industries, including construction, mining, agriculture, governmental, landscaping, and more. In addition to carrying the newest and most advanced heavy equipment, we offer used sales, equipment rebuilds, technology products and services, service and maintenance, and one of the largest parts inventories in the country.
